Answer» I've written about this problem earlier, but the topic disappeared here before I could rectify the situation (It is not my computer, so cannot go to the computer location the same day I receive advice).
**I've used the most updated AdAware available, and when scanned items come up, they reappear when I scan again. (I've also scanned at reboot.) **I've used CWShredder, and it reveals no problems.
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. Please Read This First - Spyware & Viruses

if the problem still occurs, i've only ever used one program which actually found and removed ALL of the stuff that gets SHOVED onto your PC because of the internet. it's called Spyder, or Spyderbite. and I've not come accross anything that can escape it.
i'm just looking for a download of it so i can give you the link.Pest Patrol is a very good program as well. Even Windows files donot escape from it. Just carefully examine the result list when USING this program.
I suggest you allow Ad-aware or Spybot Search & Destroy to load at Windows start before other programs load so they may be able to remove the culprit before it can load itself into the memory.
Your HijackThis log does not seem to contain anything fishy.
Are there any programs in the log that you donot recognize?
