Solve : Host ftp between 2 PC's trough ethernet cable??

Answer»

Hi there,
Currently I am connecting TWO PC's (running WINDOWS 7) trough an ethernet cable. I configured there IP's so they are in the same range (192.168.0.2 on PC number one and PC number 2: 192.168.0.3), and if I do a 'ping test' in the commandline, both PC's find eachother.
Now, I hosted filezilla server. But when I type in my other pc 'ftp://192.168.0.2" or I type in 192.168.0.3 in the filezilla client, the ftp server running on my other PC can't be FOUND. I guess I am doing something wrong.
Can anybody help me how to make it work? Any help will be much appreciated
Thanks in forward

They have both a Wiki and a forum.
http://filezilla-project.org/
Have you looked into the resources they offer?
Are you using a router?
Will your firewall allow ftp ports?

Forgot to ask.
Are you familiar with FTP clients as WELL as other types of files transfer?
Is there a REASON to prefer filezilla over other file transfer tools?

Are both machines in the same workgroup ? ?
