I am very new to macs and don't know much about internet forums!

I have recently installed a printer to my macbook pro and since then, I've encountered some frustrating glitches in Hotmail!! When I type an email,the window drops to the bottom of the page and although continues to type, I can't READ it until I scroll up, and then when I start typing again the screen drops again!! Also, if I use the backspace button a message flashes up saying 'are you sure you want to quit this message' - all I want to do is delete one letter!!!

Also if i use the 'search' function to LOOK for emails, safari crashes!

Do you know what's causing this??Good evening

I don't know what safari version you were running and what manufacture of the printer but you may have a add-on that is causing this

If you're running Safari 2.x:

1. From the "Safari" menu, select "PREFERENCES".
2. Click the "Security" tab.
3. Uncheck "Enable Plug-Ins".
4. Click "OK".
5. Close and relaunch your Internet browser.

If you're running Safari 3.x:

1. First click the "Safari" menu.
2. Select "Preferences" from the "Safari" menu.
3. Select the "Security" Tab.
4. Remove the check from "Enable Plugins".
