Answer» Let's say the PDF file is very simple. Some photos, normal text and fonts. Nothing very fancy. Now can I convert said PDF into a RTF DOCUMENT. The current version of RTF.
The OFFICE suites I have do not have a conversion. Is there something I can download? Thanks.
I use Nitro PDF, it offers all sort of conversion options, but it's not free.
If the document is shorter than 70 pages you could try http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf-to-word-converter/. It gives you word file which can then be converted to RTF.miloske, thkanks. That lined worked good. In the process I found I did not have a proper render for RTF. Only an old version of MS word properly read the RTF.
It seems WordPad does not work well for images inside RTF. OPEN Office did not render CORRECTLY, but did show images. So in the futures I will have t o use Word for RTF with embedded images. The version of WordPad in Windows 8/8.1 seems to work fine with RTF files containing images. But, I gather you're using an older version of Windows and WordPad.
Are you still using Windows XP? It's what your forum profile shows.

Yes, I also have Windows 7 and Windows 8, both 32 and 64 bit versions. Becyase of my handicap, windows 8 is of little value to me.. I spent years learning Windows XP, so I have little motivation for dropping it. I am a slow leaner. Thanks for the tips about word pad. I found an old version of Word that works fine. There are many free online file converter are available such as : 1. http://www.zamzar.com/convert/pdf-to-rtf/ 2. http://document.online-convert.com/convert-to-rtf You can download software and convert your files. For example PDF Ripper .Thanks for the links.
