Solve : How can I get PDFlite to work? |
|
Answer» I am running Windows 7, when I call up a word file and then GO to "Control P" then scroll down to "print to PDFlite" it is suppose to convert the word file to PDF. However when I try to do that, i get "GPL Ghostscript 9.09:*** Could not open temporary file". What is that all about and how do I work around it? I have DELETED my old PDFlite and downloaded a later version. Same result. I am trying to convert a dozen documents to PDF so that I can email them to people who don't have word. I also would like to combine all 12 documents into one PDF file. Any suggestions? Or am I just FANNING the breeze? I believe this problem occurs when the PDFwrite engine cannot write files into the Windows temp/tmp folder. Do the obvious things: e.g. check that it exists and is writeable, that there is sufficent free space on the drive where it is located, and try deleting any temporary lock files (created by the PDFwrite engine) in that folder and reboot. (That's a joke. I can hardly remember to get up in the morning).loool |
