Answer» I BOUGHT a 50 pack of Blank DVD-R discs, i have noticed some are bad or corrupted, when I try to copy things onto it. How can I tell if a blank DVD-R disc is bad or corrupted? Before I try to put things onto it. I hope there is a easy way to tell. Unfortunately NOA blank DISK cannot, by definition, be corrupted. It can be "bad" but the chances are so rare that that is almost never the cause for failed burns or UDF copies. Usually it's a issue with the SYSTEM itself.What software are you using to copy data onto the discs?Also what is it that you are trying to copy/transfer to the discs that causes it to fail? I gather your process (with the same disc brand DOES work in some instances). Is it possible that the burn is failing because of some fault with that which you are trying to burn? truenorth
