Office 2010 musn't have one as I can't find it either.

SEE here: http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=backup+office+2010+pst&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&psj=1&fp=53894057c0dc71cci went to c:\users\goblue8000\my documents\outlook files and two files came up, one said [emailprotected] and the other one said just Outlook, I double clicked on both of them to see what was in there and window popped up with red x in corner saying: Outlook data files must be opened from within outlook. sorry I'm so stupid in this.Of courseQuote from: kpac on November 11, 2010, 10:27:57 AM

Of course Outlook uses a .pst file in 2010. Sorry goblue - stupid of me - yes, all you have to do is OPEN data file management in outlook to see the location of the .pst file.I'm bad, I can't locate anything that says data file management, how do i get there, step by step please. I'm stupid of the stupid
Tell you what - here's the easiest way:

RIGHT click on the ribbon (I use the Home tab for this, but that's up to you). Then SELECT "customize ribbon". Then choose: "All Commands" from the dropdown box and scroll down to the Data File Management entry and add it to the ribbon commands on the right. Now you'll have an icon for data file management on the ribbon. It's handy to leave there because you should COMPACT the database every once in a while anyway (Double-click on the data file and "compact").
