Solve : How do I find what file it needs??

Answer»

Often on while using the computer, I keep getting a box that says this:
"Oops......
I am sorry, we had trouble loading a required file.
Please try again."
and then there is a button to press that says
"OK"
which makes the box go off after I press it.

Any ideas on how to determine what file this is that the computer is trying to load?

Thanks,
Amy
Does it happen when running any specific program or performing a specific task? You might find out what program is causing the problem.

Download and unzip [extract] the program called Process Explorer.
The next time you see the mysterious message, run Process Explorer [It runs without needing to be INSTALLED.] When it opens it will show a long, complicated list of processes and services running on your computer; ignore that for now and just look in the menu bar for an icon that looks like a “bull’s eye”.

Drag and drop that icon onto the mysterious message window.  Process Explorer will then highlight [in dark blue with white letters] the name of the associated program in its list. This will not tell you which file is missing, but at least it will tell you what program created the message. You could them try updating or reinstalling that program.

An alternative method to this is to tell us what program your using when this error messagebox appears and what the title text is. I'm using all the programs that are needed for a computer to function.
Windows XP is the operating system.
Bellsouth which I think is now AT&t even though our email address still has bellsouth after the at symbol, is our ISP. So, the stuff that is needed for the INTERNET to run I guess you would say is running CONSTANTLY ever since we got DSL.

So, like if you hit ctrl, alt, delete and bring up the Windows Task Manager, for Processes it says 49.

When you say title text, do you mean what is listed in the title bar?
I guess it would be Oops that is listed since it says
"Oops......
I am sorry, we had trouble loading a required file.
Please try again."

So, since Oops is the very 1st thing, I guess that would be the title.

What program shows the error message ? ?Malware?Just had this come up
Adobe Flash Player 10
A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?

I don't know what movie it is talking about. I wasn't even watching a movie.
Then there are 2 options YES or No.
If I hit yes, it closes the browser out. Then if I hit No, the message keeps coming up.
