Please, use capital letters, commas, and PERIODS, wherever applicable.ok,I'm not the best with English punctuation but its a simple question.i downloaded a driver"ecs pm800-m2 bios 1.2c",its in BIN format.I'm running windows 98 SE. on this computer.my question is how do i install such a driver, and is this in fact the proper driver (i think it is)to get my intergrated hardware eg.video, sound, eather net ect, working?if anyone wants me to send them a copy of the driver to look at id be happy to.thanks much Where did you get a driver with such a strange extension.
It's an image file. You'll need something like PowerISO to open it. If you don't have it, PM it in order to exchange email addresses, and I can try to open it for you.Personally i wouldn't trust a driver in a .bin format...
Have you visited the manuf. site instead of some anonymous driver site ? ?dont think so...but im on my way there now.ill let ya kno how it went www.driverslab.com/downloads/Bios/Ecs/PM800-M2_1_2C-Windows_95_98_ME_NT_2000_XP/7153.html -" this is where i got the driver fromThat is a BIOS flash not a driver...i highly suggest NOT flashing the BIOS to fix a boot problem and instead visit ECS's site and DLoading and INSTALLING the chipset drivers for that machine...
