Solve : How do I use an existng Outlook profile and PST??

Answer»

My Outlook email program stopped working, instead displaying a small window stating that Outlook could not open the window. I followed the directions on the Microsoft support site and ran a little applet THINGY they said would fix the PROBLEM. It did, but it also removed my profile so that when I start Outlook it runs me through a setup wizard to create a NEW profile.

OK, I did this, but when it opened my .PST file it showed all of my Outlook personal folders; everythin in my inbox is missing, though!

I backed everything up (including registry files) before I attempted my REPAIRS. Is there a better way to do this so that my Outlook works as before, and all of my email folders still contain their emails?

Thanks in advance--
--RHB If you saved a copy of the .pst file, just REPLACE the new one with the old one. If not, and if the original .pst file was deleted, you're out of luck.
