happy holidays all,

because of a program i purchased (and yes, did not read ALL of the directions), i did some deletion damage, so had to re-create some things.
i went to to dell "drivers/downloads" and saved them to a folder in "my documents".
how do i run/ADD them ?

thank you.You should just be able to double click on the .exe file to start the install process. Dell drivers will typically create a folder to which they will extract and autorun. Once they are installed you can delete those folders. Make sure to install the chipset driver first.when i clicked the exe file, a black box (like the "run" program) opened with these options:

1. make bootable diskettes.
2. put files on hard disc in the current directory.
3. " " " " " " another directory.
4. quit.While 2 or 3 should be fine, that does not sound like a message that pops up with Dell drivers. CRUISIN702 - this is the driver/download page from dell from which i did the downloads;
All Dimension 5100 (48 files)

i suppose the best thing to do is go back and re-download all those dell driver/downloads. i didn't want to do that as it took almost 45 minutes to run it.
