Solve : How to create a website?

Answer»

Can you please name some software friendly that could help me to create a website and please give some techniques.
Thanks and God Bless. Adobe Dreamwaver (Previously Macromedia Dreamweaver) is pretty good for Web Design.
We have it at our school for web design.
Doesn't come cheap though...

Notepad?

What about Notepad++. It has a feature that can identify programming/scripting LANGUAGES to make it more clearer. It all depends what you're looking for.
Dreamweaver and similar software are EASIER to learn and use, but won't create streamlined websites like Notepad and similar tools can, and they also can't give as fine CONTROL without using their code views. They will add useless code and are bloated programs.
I personally use Notepad or Notepad++, and I absolutely detest Dreamweaver.Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on June 17, 2008, 04:49:41 AM

Never heard of itYou should try it out.
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/download.phpAs noted above, NVU is a good free popular easy to use program. I aslo used Front Page 2000 and Google pages (Creator) to start out. Perhaps a blog template might do (e.g. Blogger or Wordpress), if you intend to submit constant articles.

But ultimately it does pay to learn HTML, Javascript, and other languages for web editing - as it allows better customization and learning. You can strart out by using a free host (I use Netfirms, but there are many others...)
