Answer» MS WORD 2000 under Windows XP.
Is there a way to have an existing document open at the BOTTOM or end of the document rather than at the top or BEGINNING?
I have a very long document that I continue to add to and each time I open it I have to page down to the end. I am aware that I can execute a "GO TO A PAGE NUMBER" but I would have to remember from one session to the next how many pages there are in the document. Sometimes there are days when I don't work on the document so I don't always remember how many pages I have.I don't know about a preset for this, but if you press the End key while holding down the Ctrl key, that will do the trick.Isn't there page indicator like 45/125 at the lower left hand corner? That will show you the current page you are in and the total page. Thanks Hopester Doofus - CTRL END does the job so quickly. Thanks
Thanks Michael - I had never noticed the 45/125 before. The word "Page" is to the extreme left FOLLOWED by the current page number. I guess I never READ further to the right. ThanksAnd thank you for letting us know it worked. We appreciate that feedback (probably because it's so rare around here). Really, I pesonally, appreciate this kind of communication.
We suffer run'n hits and ungrateful problemers, though they got them solved.
And finally (like Oscar award ceremony ) thanks Hopester that show such attention that person.
They must be valued.
Acta est fabule, plaudite. - The play is over, applauds! Flattery will get you everywhere with the Doofus.
