Answer» Operating system Windows 98SE, Office 2000
When I try to open OUTLOOK the initial Outlook picture appears and programme then freezes. Anyone know the cause/solution please? (Have to then cease programme through Ctrl/Alt/Del)
In the meantime I wish to copy the Outlook folders (EMAILS and calendar items) onto my laptop; as I cannot enter Outlook I can't operate the Export option - where can I find the relevant data through Windows Explorer?
Thanks for any help
Charlie
Try a repair installation of Office.
Outlook data files in Win98 are typically under C:\windows\[profiles\YOURNAME\]APPLICATION Data\Microsoft\Outlook. You'll need to enable the display of HIDDEN files and folders.
