Solve : how to use notron ghost? |
|
Answer» good day can anyone help me use norton ghost,i want to change the OS of my cousine acer desktop, from vista to xp,because vista requirments doesnt suite the desktop requirements so its running slow, but my friend said that i cannot do hardformat with branded pc because they have a software that is BUILT in with the vista installed to it to recover the SYSTEM from its clean state,so i want to use norton ghost to backup his drive C where his OS and other software is installed and put the ghost file or back up file to his drive D. i've heard that you can ghost a drive or PARTITION to other partitions of the same PC,after doing this a ghost BOOT will appear along with the OS choice.then i can do ghosting partitions.i just SAW this when i rented at an internet cafe, just wanted to do this actions first,or ghosting the drive so, if ever the change to XP will not work i can just rollback the system with the use of norton ghost. so what i want to know is how can i do that with norton ghost, because i've never use this software and just wanted to try it. hope you understand my english, thanks in advancePersonally, I find your post incomprehensible. Punctuation might help.I couldn't and didn't read it either... sorry for my bad english, well patio's link is what im looking for but any idea how can i use the ghost image to execute without the cd?and add it to the choices in windows startup? Still not clear on what you want to accomplish here.... |
