Answer» I have a HP PC with WinXP and HP LJ 3050 All-In-One. I have searched but can not find out exactly what this software does although it appears that it doesn't do much and I don''t need or use it. It takes up alot of space and I wouod like to unistall it if I can. What do you SAY? Ok to get rid of it?Well, surely the software is needed for full functionality of your HP LJ 3050 All-In-One. If you remove it, you won't have full functionality, perhaps EVEN no functionality, from your HP LJ 3050 All-In-One. I suggest you look elsewhere in your system to resolve hard drive space issues. No one answered here or over in the HP forums so I deleted it and All-In-One works fine, at least all of the functions I use work fine. I did find that HP EXTENDED Capabilities 6.1 is nothing but a data gathering tool for HP marketing development. Don't know if that is the same for 4.7. Well, in your original post, you did not say the name of the software, so I could only assume it was the software and drivers that provide full use of printer features via your computer. Name of software was the title of my original post. In the future I will make sure to include important info in the body of the post.
