Please help. I need recovery discs for an HP PAVILLION 7960. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?!! My friend's computer crashed and he really needs theses discs. You may want to surprise him by getting a real Windows CD instead of a recovery disc set. I would certainly prefer that. (Except that recovery CDs generally do a better job when it comes to installation of drivers.)Just on those hard to find HP modem/soundcard combo cards! I had a ***** of a problem with an Acer and an IBM. Both CAME with XP Home; upgraded both to PRO; installed drivers from respective vendors' websites; no sound. Gave up in the end because pretty sounds ain't that important in a solicitors' office...I SUPPOSE that kinda handy for you rob, whilst sitting there behind your computer , and interviewing a Client you can be playing Quake, and they don't know because theres no sound
