Solve : HP Printer Drivers? |
Answer» I have an HP PSC 1210 All-In-One hooked up to desktop computer on a network. There are two laptops connected to the network. One is relitively new with windows XP. The other is an ancient BRICK with Windows 98 SE. On the brick, I want to set up the printer so I can print stuff on it. The problem is, when i put the CD with the drivers in, it says that I don't have enough RAM, HDD space and I don't have a USB port. Is there any way to MAKE it work anyway? I only want the bare minimum to just print, I don't want all the image software for the scanner and all that crap. Any ideas? If your computer doesn't have a USB port, and the printer requires it, then I WOULD just give this up... As far as drivers, try the HP website. They might LET you do a custom installation, so you won't install the rest of the software they give you. Only the bare bones. Your connection (USB) seems to be the bug issue here however... |
