Answer» I have printed out what you told me about Links and Tartegs.
And still it does not seem to wok.
If I want to MAKE a LINKE on my Web Page and I want it to go to a WORD on the same Web Page will I be right.
That I will make the Link like any other HyperLink And the WORD I want it to go to I have to make like this [ a name=" then I type the WORD I want it to go to"]This is the link itself: <a href="#footer">Go to bottom of page
And add this to the bottom of the page: <a name="footer">
This is just an example. Add the link and the "name" where ever you want it.OK I am running into a problem so I THINK I will tell you everything I want to happen and everything I am doing.
At the Bottom of my Web Site there is the word MONITORS and I want to make a Link at the Top of my Web Page that will jump to that word MONITORS on the same page.
So at the Top of the Page I make my Link [A HREF="MONITOR">
And at the Bottom of the page ware the spot is ware the word is I wont to Link to I make my Target [A NAME="MONITOR">
And then I go to teast it so I click on the Link and it can't find the spot a Blank window opens.
When I make my Link do I have to ad the Web Site Address in the Hyper Link?
I don't want it to open a new window just go to a diferant spot on the same page. Did I miss something??? ThanksYes, that's because you have <a href="MONITOR"> That's like linking to a file. You need to use a hash SYMBOL, like this: <a href="#MONITOR">
Thanks for the help it all WORKS greate now.
