I downloaded pGina version 1.8.8 and shortly after I couldn't see my personal files on my  laptop. It asks for a username and password to login to pGina when I TURN on my laptop, but I never had the chance to create a username and password to pGina. I have been logging in as "admin". I have tried to configure pGina but when I CHANGE the settings, it defaults to the original settings before i changed them. my administrator user is limited only views and cant make changes . I have also tried safe mode\safe mode with network\debugging \boot logging.
In safe mode, I was looking for DISABLING and uninstalling pGina but when I try to uninstall pGina it says I don't have administrative rights. The reason I downloaded pGina was because my laptop couldn't connect to a more secure protocol WPA2 and kept defaulting to WEP in windows. My laptop hasn’t had this problem before and I have been able to access WPA2 at other wifi hotspots. My network adaptor is Atheros AR5001X   IEEE 802.1X V 3.20.3 that has WPA\WPA2 features for secure internet connection.

So I’ve searched about this issue and I found that windows has a problem in “unable to authenticate certification authorization” and because of that matter I researched and I found that a program called XSUPPLICANT  2.2.0.710 resolves that problem by replacing windows authentication by INSTALLING a new authenticator.
Xsupplicant and pGina come hand in hand. Xsupplicant working on the internet connection, and pGina is an interface in GINA windows.
Please let me know in detail how to resolve this issue.
We can’t determine if this is an error or settings issue.
Any suggestions to where and how to obtain the right information will be VERY appreciated.

u can do one thing going login as guest  or safe mode and try to get back up of all u need, and then using the windows RECOVERY cd, recover ur Hard disk.
this will take pgina off the board...
