Solve : I cant open the file?

Hi,

I have a FILE with a .rar extension, but when I used winRar to open it,
it said "...unexpected END of the file". I guessed the file extension is a wrong one.

I think I need a software to help me find a correct extension for the file,
but I don't know if there is such a software out.
Could you help please?
