Solve : I'm pretty Sure I deleted my sound driver?

Answer»

I was clearing my computer of things yesertday and i have accidentally deleted my sound files, My computer will not play any sound at all and when accessing the volume control I have this error message:

There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, and then click add hardware.

When I go into the hardware it says I have no Audio Device.

When I run Device Manager There is a yellow ? next to and a ! on multimedia Audio Controller

When double clicked it says

The drivers for this device are not INSTALLED. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

When I click in Reinstall Driver it goes to install wizard then after a moment says:

Cannot Install this Hardware

The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software

I am running on Microsoft WINDOWS XP
Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Intel(R) Pentium(R)
HP
