Solve : I/O ERROR ON G: DRIVE?

Answer»

I TRY PUTTING MY LEXAR MICROSD ADAPTER WITH THE MINI LEXAR 4GB MICROSDHC CHIP INTO MY REMOVEABLE DISK G: DRIVE AND IT SAYS G: IS NOT ACCESIBLE THE REQUEST COULD NOT BE PREFORMED BECAUSE OF AN I/O DEVICE ERROR HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM ITS DRIVING ME CRAZYRan into one time. Turned out all I needed was a reboot.AS IN JUST REDO XP?As in, turn machine off and back on.THAT DOESNT WORK I TRIEDIt SOUNDS like the driver is locked.

I would try another usb in that port or maybe the usb device in another port.

If that dont work I would try right clicking and selecting explore, or go into disk management and assign the drive a new letter.

You could also try to disable your usb devies in device manager > reboot > enable them > reboot again  and then see if that will clear the USB port.
