Answer» Help. I think my keyboard driver got deleted and i cant log on Another message with no information?
Can you borrow another keyboard to check? Is it plugged into the right spot? Is it a PS/2. USB, or wireless model? WHat brand? How do you think this could have HAPPENED? And any more details, of course, WOULD help. You wont need keyboard drivers to log on. The only information usually used for keyboards is the multimedia aspect. Otherwise when you plug it in for the first time then how would you be able to log on to install the drivers?
Have you tried F8 to see if it responds to getting Windows advanced startup options screen or getting into the BIOS?
Try CTRL+ALT+DEL twice when you get to the log in screen, this will bring up the old STYLE log in screen asking for username and password fields.
If you can get into the BIOS check USB support is enabled, sometimes works on the likes of Packard BELL and Compaq machines.
