I have a desktop computer with windows XP. And i love the windows media player. And on my laptop, i have vista (which i dont like) and i dislike the windows media player. I would like to get the XP style media player on my vista laptop.... So do i just delete media player v11 and GO up load v10? you tell me, im lostIn your first comment you indicate you like WMP in Wxp. Your next comments says you don't like WMP in Vista. That alone is confusing. What are you really trying to ask?
T.I'm not sure if this can happen, but try to uninstall you current windows media player in vista, i assume it is wpm 11 right?
then go to this link http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx
download wpm 10 and install it.

I don't mean to step on kusmania's toes here but it was just last week I had to "roll back" WMP v11 to v10.

As kusmaina did ask, "we assume that is what you WANT to do; roll back v11 to v10". If that is the case, the updated instructions on how to roll back is in WMP v11 download page under "CONTENTS": http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/readme.aspx#Rollingb . Vista O/S may have something inherently special for you to do also.
