Answer» I have just reformatted the HARDRIVE and INSTALLED xp....however the drivers have been wiped from the memory of the thinkpad and need reinstalling. I do not have a driver disk to do this and cannot ACCESS the internet with no driver. When in device manager it has yellow exclamation signs nxt to ...ethernet CONTROLLER, Multimedia Audio Controller, PCI Modem, SUI BUS Controller, Unknown device and Video Controller(VGA Compatible)....any help on what to do from hereon will be appreciated....thanksYou'll have to download all drivers (including the chipset driver, which needs to be installed first) on another computer and transfer them to yours via usb or cd - OR contact IBM or the retailer from whom you purchased the computer and ask for a driver disc. |
