Answer» Running Windows Vista Home on a Dell. Have Norton Security free with Comcast isp. It had a handy feature that stored login ID's and passwords and entered them when needed. Neat. Then they changed to a password-protected feature that isn't worth the time it takes to use, IMHO. I didn't like Norton anyway because it used so much capacity and it ALWAYS doing something that slows the operation to the point of the computer being almost being useless for the first 90 mins every morning. So I DUMPED Norton and installed Avast. Much less intrusive now. BUT it doesn't have an id - password storage feature that I have been ABLE to find. So, is there a simple program availabe, free hopefully, that I can download to do this for me?
Thanks for any help. DixieflashThere's MANY free ones, Google "password manager". Here's one: http://keepass.info/ No experience with it.
I've used this one for a long time: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,4716-order,1/description.html
