Usually when I am on free PHPBB boards. I've run AVG and it found no viruses.

I use IE, and when I'm on some sites (usually free PHPBB forum sites) I get a message saying 'Internet Explorer has to close'.

I have done an AVG scan and downloaded Google Toolbar, both to no avail.

It's been like this for a number of days now, and I've also found that pages on Youtube don't LOAD. These problem occur on both IE and AOL 9.0, however Firefox seems to be working fine. Darren........ Quote

How about , what operating system your using ?
Do you have all the updates installed including SP2 ?
Is your machine free from nasties ?
What happened just prior to this issue starting ?

So with all due respect , I think there is more info you need to provide .

It seems there are other fundamental issues at work. Is this a legit XP install? What error messages do you get when you try to download SP2? Is it sa WGA error?
