Answer» I've just moved "My DOCUMENTS" contents from one LAPTOP to another I now find that some of the Word Documents are showing the current date in letters to customers that were created & dated months ago As these letters are records documents sent out is there a way of preventing them opening with the current date I've already CHECKED, Wotd - Insert - Date & Time & the Automatic Updates box is unchecked Thanks for any helpIf the existing documents contained automatically updating date fields, there's not an awful lot you can do about that, I'm afraid. Check the creation date perhaps. Another reason to use a CRM system, RATHER than relying solely on Word+Windows Explorer...
