I think that I have plugged in it and done something before starting install as above; and for this reason some registry and/or files are made, without completing install. I used its driver remover from D-Link website, but problem remained. I think I have to find and delete existing registry and/or files of driver, but I do not know how. Please help me for RESOLVING this problem. Dear "patio"; about DEVICE manager, modem is not in it. Although I think if it was installed, it would be in "Network Adapters" (not "Modems").
