I had been using Adobe for a few days.. and then when I tried to use it.. it would freeze. So I uninstalled it thinking I could install it again.. well i couldnt.. wouldn't let me install it.. I downloaded it a couple times for a couple different sites and the installation wizard wouldnt work. So I thought it may be the program itself, and I thought I had it on a disk, so when I tried to install the disk, again the installation wizard wouldnt work well i really NEED adobe and i need to be able to install some things.. so anyone have any ideas?Lesley......First of all .....what operating system are you using . Then which Adobe product are you trying to install ? If you have XP .....have you received SP?
What you may have to do is remove any Adobe installer present in your pc.....or completely remove WHATEVER Adobe program you were using . Then try to DOWNLOAD again.

Shut down programs that donot need to be running before you install the program. See if that helps.Hey, yeah Im using XP but I dont have a service pack.. im at college and I basically dont download anything unless the college tells me to, (for these very reasons). I have gotten rid of everything having to do with adobe.. and it still wont work.. Also.. even when I have nothing running.. my COMPUTER's CPU usage is 100%.. I have spyware and anti virus.
