My automatic update STOPPED running back in last year sometime and I didnt notice. (okay lots of words spring to mind)
Trying to update now but it wants to install SP3 and everytime it tries it comes up with failure due to ntdll.dll being open or in use.
Been round the houses on this one, any suggestions?Download the standalone SP3 update from Microsoft's web site (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=68C48DAD-BC34-40BE-8D85-6BB4F56F5110&displaylang=en) and try installing it that way.Thanks - unless I am thick that only points to some white papers and TELLS me to go to update.microsoft.com to get the update. Seems to take hours to download from Microsoft sites so will be back later after I have tried it from CD
