Solve : Intel Graphics Accelerator?

Answer»

I'm experiencing problems watching videos on YouTube. The videos get interrupted (blacked out), and I get an onscreen message telling me that my Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator for WINDOWS Vista (R) stopped responding. What am I supposed to do to fix this problem?

Also, why is it telling me about Widows Vista (R), when I'm in fact using Windows 7?

Any help would be much appreciated!I was getting similar messages while I was playing games. It turned out that I had a Windows Vista display driver installed, despite the fact that I was running Win 7 on that machine. What you have to do, is to get the latest Windows 7 drivers for your system.

Do you know the exact model of your Intel GPU?

No - SORRY I don't know the exact model of my Intel GPU. Do you know how I might find out?

Also - if I can't find it, can I still fix the problem and how? What is the motherboard Make and Model # ? ?

The proper driver will be at the MBoard manuf. site...Make & Model are:

Gigabyte GA G41MT S2P (Rev: 1.3)Vista Drivers...

Note: Thes are for the 32bit version of Vista...if you have the 64bit ver. you need to select it from the OS BOX on the RIGHT...Please excuse my ineptitude, but I'm still a bit unsure of which one to download. I'm using Windows 7, but I think that my current driver is Windows Vista (R)? So do I download Win7 or Vista? Also I'm not sure whether I am 32 or 64 bit. Basic features of my Computer tell me that I'm using a 32-bit Operating System, but my booklet on my Intel Pentium Processor, gives my model as Intel 64 Architecture. Not sure what this all means? You need the 32bit Win7 graphics Driver.Thanks. Also - do I need to uninstall my old Intel Graphics Accelerator (and if so how do I do it)?Not neccessary...DLoad the new one to the Desktop...double clik the file to run it...then re-boot when it completes.Much Obliged - Thanks!!Anytime...Welcome ABOARD !
