Solve : internet connection issues? |

Answer» Hi - i am having problems connecting to the internet on one of my pocs that are connected to the same router. Throughput on one is 7500+ (8.1 mb profile) but on the other it is between 11 and 400. I have run trend micro 2007 - no results and registry mechanic - no improvement and am stumped as to what to do next. I am running vista business on this pc. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.Was that Vista computer getting a FASTER Internet connection at one TIME, or has it always been that SLOW? Is the Vista computer connected to the router by CABLE or by wireless connection? Check to see if its using a proxy that doesn't work..What is the connection speed if you run it directly and not thru the router? |
