Answer»

Is anyone upgraded  to windows 10 already? I heard that some software are incompatible on WIN 10, is it right?Yes, lots of people have.
One of the popular  blogs is' Ask Leo', who kind of recommended it before the release. Yet he  stets by saying you don't need it.

Overall, that is what most of the experts say. They say it is good, but you can live without it. The main advantage of Windows 10 is that it gives Microsoft a platform that they can adjust to suit changing trends in the marketplace and fit off malware.

Myself, I like it better that Windows 8. But I do not use it for everyday use. For one thing, the display fonts are not as good on my monitor. It looks better in Windows 7.

I use three systems. Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10. Because of my limited ability to adjust to new things, I have to use XP for my everyday yaks. But each day I spend a LITTLE time trying Windows 10. So I no longer have time to explore Linux.

Bear this in mind. If you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, you can oily use Windows 10. But my system is legal because I had two legal versions of Windows 7. The 32 bit version was used to upgrade to the 32 bit Windows 10.

Now if you like Windows 7, and have only one legal install, stick with it if you like.

From where ? ?

If it ran on any OS back to XP or Win2K it'll run on Win10With any new OS, there's bound to be some software that isn't compatible.  With Win 10 the great majority of existing Windows software is compatible but, unfortunately, not all.  Upgraded my laptop which came with Windows 8 to Windows 10 and I havent had any problems with software yet. I am just adapting to Windows 10 slowly. Early on I had a strange video driver issue with the Intel APU, but a driver update fixed it. The prior version graphics driver was crashing and reverting to a generic mode. Updated driver for GPU on the APU and problem solved. Here is system I have Windows 10 running ok on. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231360

No performance gain from Windows 8. Also This system at one point I downgraded to 7, and then 10 came out and I wiped 7 off of the DRIVE and pushed 8 back to it from factory system RECOVERY, and then upgraded to 10. I stand by my statement above...

I've yet to see whats been described above... Quote from: patio on September 17, 2015, 07:13:16 PM

Computerworld claims there is one. Adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop and PREMIERE will not run due to missing DLL files. Re-installing the two programs did not fix the problem
I don't believe it.
