Is AVAST still FREE?
It gave me a pop=up today and said I have to buy it in 11 days from now.
Is that TRUE?
This link says it is free.

I am confused.  The site says you have to register it. Did you do that? Other than that it does still APPEAR to be free.You need to register with a valid e-mail addy and repeat the process every year....

Maybe I should use an alternate e-mail?AVAST is coming out with version 5 in 2010. And yes, you can still grab the free edition, which is still very good.

Why UNINSTALLING and reinstalling so many times? It would be easier to get a key once a year instead of uninstalling after 60 days. I know. I've tried explaining that to him, but he just thinks it's easier this way. 

He's UM... not exactly what I'd call a normal person. Really.
