Solve : Is there any OS with which u ...?

Answer»
  • can execute all files that Windows can (exe,com,reg,RAR,...)
  • can play current games
  • surf
  • that recognizes a majority of the current hardware out there (HDs,scanner,mice,keyboards,...)
  • that has a GUI
  • ...and that is more secure and not so prone to crashing ?
I would do nearly everything 2 use that OS...from relearning how to use it to buying it. [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif]

One thing I won't do though is lose all my data or say farewell to any hardware...NEVER ! [smiley=shocked.gif]

So could any1 recommend such an OS (if there even is 1 like that out there...).
Thanx alot  [smiley=dankk2.gif]Yes, it's call Windows and uh.... oh.

Despite the mass negative view of Windows, I find it to be quite stable and USEFUL provided everything is set up right. I'm not saying Microsoft have done the best job ever, but they haven't done the worst either. Since Windows is the most popular home operating system, it's natural it will receive more complaints than others.

Linux and Mac are two alternatives, but they won't be able to play all games. However, more and more of the new games are being made compatable with those systems.

Oh, reg and rar files are not executed rar files are archives that can be extracted by any operating system, and reg are registry files for Windows. Why you would want to install Windows registry files on another operating system is anyone's guess.W2Kwhut fed sed. Well it all depends on your commitment
in Linux i can do almost everything i can in windows
but in windows i cant do everything i can in windows
you have to learn how to live with either crashes
or with stability  in Linux i have learned to give up certain things
witch i though i never would never live without but its all for a GOOD cause
in Linux i can write to NFTS partitions (i still havent cleared my windows
partitions and still need to load windows to defrag) just fine and do all the kewl things
i could in windows but in Linux now i can compile my Kernel and patch it
for performance witch is important for professionals in multimedia
(Kmixer in windows adds horrible latency that cant ever be fixed legally)
but i cant watch TV in my all in wonder but i don't ever have to defrag, hardly
crash and if i play opengl compliant games they even run better in Linux
ohh and i don't ever have to d/l drivers if i dont want to because
Linux already has drivers for my audigy witch in windows is over 700mb
plus in windows they only release new installation cd's after service packs are made
but in linux theres a new cd with all the latest updates and features for sure every SIX monthsWhat happens if you want to play a game that ISN'T opengl compliant?
