Answer» Hey everyone, I recently fixed an old, underpowered Toshiba netbook of mine. The specs are; 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 250 GB HDD, and an Intel Atom 1.6 Ghz processor. It was originally running Windows 7 Starter, which was a bottleneck in itself. My parents downloaded a virus on the laptop so I formatted the hard drive and installed Windows XP. It runs so well on the machine, sometimes that CPU fan doesn't even run! Only problem I have is I want to use this as a storage server for my house. A 250 gb hard drive is plenty for what I want it for. I CURRENTLY have it running as a NAS pretty well, but I wanted to take it a step further and install a program like SeaFile to host them online.
