Answer»

at my wits end here. everytime i try to download new programs the hosts server see my italian ISP and i get everything in italian.

i'm trying to download google earth but i can't change the language to ENGLISH.

any help greatly appreciated.

operating windows xp, 2000, SP2, dell, and firefox.

cheersYou should be able to change the language in Google Earth, I can in mine.
Start Google Earth.
Select "Strumenti" from the menu bar and click "Opzioni...."
Click the far right tab called "Generale".
You should see a frame with the text "Impostazioni della lingua".
In the drop down menu in this frame select "English".
Close the warning that pops up and close the menu with OK.
Shutdown Google Earth and start it again, it should be in English now.Quote

the hosts server see my italian ISP
How can you tell?
Who is your ISP?
What does it say here:
http://www.ip-adress.com/thank yoooooooou deer park, i FEEL like such an idiot ,

BTW Broni, actually my IP is german thanks to us having to download via satellite as the italians are still using the phonelines installed by the Etruscans so i don't get broadband where i live, somehow UK or USA websites ALWAYS think i'm going to understand their websites better in either italian or more FREQUENTLY in german.

guess i'd better get back to my italian phrase books.

cheers guys!!You're welcome.
