Answer» I have a PAIN in the problem with itunes player. the thing keeps Skipping when i play music? I've tried UNINSTALLING it and reinstaling, deleting music and then doing a new import, but doesn't make a bit of difference. i don't know if the skipping would transfer to a ipod as i am PROBABLY the only person on the planet that doesn't own a mp3 player
looking into buying one, but want excellent sound quality over everything else. i've heard the Sony NW-HD5 or iaudio m3?
any recomendations? thanks, ajay Try defragmenting your hard drive, your music may be in fragments. Any other problems with the computer? Can other media players play the music without skipping? And clean up the language we have visitors of all ages pass through here...I have no other problems with the computer, might be a bit on the slow side when booting up. and Media Player is fine. ( media player 11)Hey.
I downloaded iTunes 7 a few times and I kept getting 'choppy' playback. The music was unlistenable. Since then I added more ram, a new graphics card and a new sound card (which I would've done regardless). Thought I'd give iTunes 7 another go but.... more skipping! Check the iTunes forum: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=800 My suggestion is install iTunes 6
If you don't buy an iPod you don't need to USE iTunes. You could use WMP or WinAmp as your media player.
