Hello.

I went to update jave today but i keep getting this error



I am running on an administrator's account, and the location is

C:\Windows\system32\%APPDATA%

I also tryed the solution at the java HELP page

http://java.com/en/download/help/error_installshield.xml

where it says " please try to download and install the offline installation package from the manual download page"

But i keep getting the same error, but should i have "SAVED" the file somewhere rather than letting it run.

The last update was Java 6 update 18, i also update manually, i don't have the automatically check for UPDATES

It wont install the package because it can't find the network location, EVEN if i download the package to somewhere else.
When i try to run it, it can't find the location...

I am working on it now, it has to do with registry keys having the wrong value data, or value, or name type.
I'll post back with what i find..... I'm having the same issue, is there a way to fix it?
