What is kiB???

according to the SI standards a Kilobyte is 1000 bytes, and the KIBIBYTE, mibibyte, etc are the "binary" prefixes that are the "standard".

Nobody uses the KiB prefixes though. because they are IMMENSELY stupid and 20 years too late.French do, BC_Programmer. ;P
