I don't think that and other stats would be relevant.
This seems like a hardware problem, but it's a little too WEIRD. Might have something to do with driver, or some other essential program.
I started having problems playing a GAME (HL2), hitting any key would cause it to pause. I went to the keyboard CONFIG and tried remapping, but any key I pressed REGISTERED as "pause". So I installed a keystroke spy, and after a quick test found that all keys, except for my left and right "control" and "alt" keys registered as "numlk" However. I am typing this request for help on the same computer. Typing in any field, and typing in word doesn't seem to be problematic. Although the keystroke spy says that all this is "numlk". Any suggestions?obviously "numlk" stands for "num lock". Perhaps you have some Sony laptop virtual-keypad utility running that you need to disable. I should also add that when I hold "control" and any other key, it registers it as "ctrl + whatever key I press" and not as numlock as it normally would.have you tried pressing FN+Numlock Key?
What keystroke program did you install ? ? Sounds as if it may be the culprit here...thanks contrex. all keys are acting like themselves now. It wasn't the keystroke program, just my own dumb fault.
