Answer» Can there be a software or utilities to manage the FAN of a laptop? I always use my PC for games and I use 88-92% of the Physical Memory (This is according to the Task Manager) with a 35-60% CPU Usage.
Here's the specifications of my laptop:
OS: Vista Home Basic System Manufacturer: ACER System Model: Aspire 4715Z BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) DUAL T2370 @ 1.73GHz (2 CPU) Memory: 1526MB RAM Page File: 3311 VRAM(Approx.): 358MB Current Display Mode: 1280 x 600 (32BIT)(60hz)
Do need help before my PC's Motherboard will melt.
Stop checking out those prono sites!
Just kidding.....
How hot does it get? You can clean out any dust or anything blocking the vents. Than try to make sure your fans are running.
DOWNLOAD speedfan and let us know what it says...

I'm afraid the said program won't run on a 32Bit VISTA Home Basic OS. Is there other program that monitor the SpeedFan on VistaHB OS?speed fan should work from what I know. Never ran vista myself. Walmart sells a dual fan setup for the bottom of laptops that CONNECT useing a usb port.I think you're saying is a Laptop Cooling Pad. Unfortunately, it only decreases my laptop's heat by 75%, and a 100% when I'm in an A/C Room.
But I do my surfing on a HotSpot wherein it's an open space area. Without the Laptop Cooling Pad, my Laptop get's easily hot.I think thats what it is. But at this point you have to use good judgement connect it an not have it over heat or allow it too. No matter the program heating is going to be an issue UNLESS you look in it an see if you cant possibly mount a fan or something.Ok. Thanks for that info.Just sorry I cant do a better job since I dont really do laptops but thought that it mite of helped you.But I'm still curious of what happening in my laptop.
After upgrading my memory by a 512MB increase. My pc get's hot easily.
What grounds present for such event?
