How do i get LIMEWIRE not to open when i open my computer, and my computer is slower than usuall ever since i added limewire. 1. Why allow someone you don't know access to files on your computer?

2. Why download a file from someone's computer...when you really have no clue at all what it is you're getting?

3. You really want something for nothing? Try breathing...didn't cost a thing, now...did it?

Word to the wise...

If you can't afford to pay for the MUSIC, video, or whatever it is you want for nothing...wait until you can afford to purchase it legally.

I can pretty much guarantee you that most malware issues are caused by someone trying to download a file from "God knows where"...thinking they're getting a steal.

So , it is unavoidable for it to be a little bit laggy ... Besides , if you accidently downloaded certain files that contain virus or spyware from limewire , you would also experience laggy computer .... If you would to continue using the limewire , try to scan your computer regularly and always scan the limewire's temporary folder ...You can also disable limewire from INITIALIZE automatically by ; Click Start > Run > Type MSCONFIG >startup > cancel the tick at the limewire's program and ok ...
