Solve : Locked Out Of My Computer?

Last night I REINSTALLED my computers operating system hoping to fix some system problems that I've been having, and now I can't even get logged into my computer.  I have windows 2000 and it will no longer accept my user name and password to log on, and I don't know how to get in to fix it.  Can someone help me before I rip the hard drive out of the computer and start over with a new one?When you reinstalled it, what did you do?
Try it again- make sure to format the disk to remove the data.

We could ask you the same thing...Tried booting into Safe Mode and using the Administrator ACCOUNT?  Should be no password there.  Create a new account and move your stuff there.
