Hello, I have been trying to download a very large FILE using FIREFOX. After about 24 hours, my computer will become unresponsive. I cant open any other  application. I cannot restart my computer because I cant resume the download. What can I do?

Get a download manager.The site will not let you use one.Exactly what are you downloading and how big is it?A game and its 3.7 GB. The site will only do http downloadsWhat is the game, may I ask?

A game that big has to have some sort of torrent option.I just realized this.



In Mozilla Firefox, you can pause and continue your downloads. This may be what you want.I do use firefox, but still, if I do pause the download I still cant get anything to FUNCTION. I am downloading from IMAGE shack. It has a torrent manager which you use and then download your file via http. The speeds can be slow.What kind of connection is it?
