You cannot put something on something without connecting to it.The things people ask... You can do a lot with wireless these days I hear.
grim2720,You have really peaked my interest.Since you are only seeking a "program" to enable your request--i am very interested to know how you are physically going to accomplish (with hardware connections -or maybe with the "Picard make it so method") of getting the data from the one hardware device to the other?truenorthHe has it plugged up to his TV.

Perhaps a USB Switch? You can get wireless media streaming devices that plug in the TV which would do most of what the OP wants.
If his tv has that capability.

It just needs SCART or phono inputs. These are more common than TVs with USB sockets.

I've seen Picture Frames with USB ports.....never a TV.Used to think the USB ports were for Technicans but I'm guessing he's got pictures on his Ext. HD that he can view on his TV.Quote from: macdad- on March 16, 2009, 07:59:34 PM

I don't know about elsewhere, but here in Europe you can get TVs with card slots and USB ports. They have BUILT in chipsets that can decode multimedia files DivX, mpeg, jpeg, mp3, etc.

For example
