I am LOOKING for something to do antivirus and malware. And also free.

I am using AVG which is OK but too many popup to buy crap. I am sick of it. Looking to CHANGE.

First, AVG is good. The pop-ups my be from the web site.
Second, this forum does not have an 'official' list of free software.
Now having said that, the free version of Malware bytes is good to have.
Also, you should already have the Microsoft Essentials.
Here is a credible web site that has recommendations.

Personally, I sue Avast. But I might change. 
Why would you "sue" Avast ? ?
Did they do something wrong ? ?They ask me to pay for it.
I beg them to let me keep using it free.

I have had a really good RUN with Baidu Antivirus. From here http://antivirus.baidu.com/en/

Id recommend that aswellI recommend it as well...but to clarify it's not an A/V program...Thanks! I will check out the suggestions and get back to you all.
