Answer» Years ago I use to use RealVNC to access systems that weren't connected to the internet but were connected to a local LAN.
I have a computer that is running Windows 10 Home 64-bit that I'd like to access on my private LAN from other computers in my home so that I dont have to walk over to that computer and interact with it directly. When going to get the latest version of RealVNC I discovered that they no longer have a Non-Internet Connected Product and it now requires you to have the systems that are to be controlled connected to the Internet.
Anyone have any suggestions for a client/server REMOTE software that would work like RealVNC or PC Anywhere did?, where you can connect to other systems hosting the software on a private LAN that some systems aren't given a gateway connection to the internet for purpose of stronger security as well as able to control when Windows 10 updates by system not connected to internet until I manually set the static IP of it to the gateway IP vs redirected to its own IP.
Because all systems are Windows 10 Home edition and not Pro edition I dont have RDP as an option. You can re-enable Remote DESKTOP using this wrapper, might be worth a try. Cool Thanks BC, going to give that a try
